QUALIFYING CHALLENGES

 MX-5 Cup @ Le Mans: Bugatti Circuit 

 Forza Touring Cars @ Suzuka: West Alt 

 Modern Hot Hatch @ Yas Marina: North Corkscrew 

  • All players will take part in one large qualifying league.

  • Players must set their fastest lap on ALL 3 of the above combinations.

  • Laps must be set before the timer below reaches zero.

  • Your final Qualifying position is based entirely on your combined (3) fastest lap times.

  • Your final Qualifying position determines in which league you'll participate during Season 16*.

  • We will publish updates to the Qualifying League Table at the end of weeks 1 and 2 so players can check their progress.

 * NOTE: We will announce how the leagues will be split once we know the exact amount of racers taking part.

Make Your Lap Count

 

  1. You must be registered.  To register, comment with your Xbox Gamertag on the "Season 16" Registration Post, found on our FACR: Forza Motorsport Facebook group - link provided at the top of every page.   Once a Season is underway, registration closes and you will need to wait until the following season.

  2. You must set your lap times within the Freeplay section of Forza Motorsport 7.

  3. You must set your lap times before the countdown timer above reaches zero.  Any laps completed after this time will not be counted.

The 'Friction Assist' feature must be turned off in order for your lap to count!

Assists / Car restrictions


There are no assist restrictions of any kind (exlcuding 'Friction Assist').

As long as you are using a car which qualifies for the current homologated challenge, just do whatever you have to in order to set your fastest clean lap!

Season Format​​


Each season requires you to take part in 10 weekly time attack challenges.  Each challenge is chosen by our Admin team and announced each Friday at 9pm UK time throughout the season.  This announcement is made on FACR’s Facebook group page, so you should join the page if you wish to participate.  You have exactly one week to set your laps.  This runs each Friday of the season from 9pm UK time, to precisely 7 days later.  Laps set outside of this window will not count.  At the end of each week, the results tables for each Division are updated and posted below.

FACR Divisions

 

There are FOUR main divisions with two optional divisions running alongside.  They are;

Main Divisions;

The Open Division.

The Championship Division.

The Premier Division.

The Elite Division

Open Division. 

Maximum Capacity: 55.  The first tier of the Main Divisions.  Points are awarded to the fastest 35 players at the end of each week.  From 1st to 35th, the scoring runs down using the following format.

35, 34, 33, 32, 31, 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

 

Championship Division. 

 

Maximum Capacity: 46.  The second tier of the Main Divisions.  As with the Open Division, points are awarded for your final positions at the end of each week.  Points are awarded to the fastest 40 players at the end of each week.  From 1st to 40th, the scoring runs down using the following format.

40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, 32, 31, 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Premier Division. 

Maximum Capacity: 36.  The third tier of the Main Divisions.  This is where things start to heat up, with the Premier League boasting some serious competition! As with the Championship Division, points are awarded for your final positions at the end of each week to the fastest 30 players.  From 1st to 30th, the scoring runs down using the following format.

 

30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

 

Elite Division. 

Maximum Capacity: 25.  The Top Tier of the Main Divisions.  This. Is. Speed.

You really are running with the fastest now, so don’t be surprised if a fellow racer sets a global #1 lap time! As with the Premier Division, points are awarded for your final positions at the end of each week.The competition here is fierce, and points are not only difficult to earn, but you could easily fall behind with this new format if you don’t really push throughout the season! Points are awarded to the fastest 20 players. From 1st to 20th, the scoring runs down using the following format.

20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

 

Finish in the Top 3 and earn yourself a spot on the Season podium, potentially earning the title of the Elite Champion!

 

The Elite Champion is awarded the rights to

FACR’s #1 race number for the duration of the following season.

 

Optional Divisions

The Hardcore Division.

The Wheel-User Division.  

Choosing to participate in these divisions does not eliminate you from the main leagues, nor does it in any way influence your position or ability to score points in the main leagues.  These are merely for those who choose to have that extra challenge.

The Hardcore Division: Game settings must match those required to appear on the in-game Hardcore leaderboards in order to qualify.  Using these settings will automatically enter your time into the Hardcore Leaderboard.  There is no need to register separately for this league.  

Points are awarded to the fastest 30 laps set.  From 1st to 30th, the scoring runs down using the following format.

30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

The Wheel-User Division: Forza Motorsport 7 has no way of separating the use of controllers vs wheels.  For this reason we are trusting your honesty in entering and assume you are using a wheel-based setup.  Registration for this division is separate to the main registration.

Points are awarded to the fastest 30 laps set.  From 1st to 30th, the scoring runs down using the following format.
